China 1950 & Egypt 2012 (Part I)

This is a fascinating article exploring some of the currents among Egyptian believers–not the least of which, those from a Muslim background.  In 1950, when the international missionaries were forced out of China by the Communists, the Church outside China grieved the presumed loss of the Church in China.  Amazingly, the Church prospered and continues to prosper as it took root in unforeseen ways.  So likewise, here in 2012, Egypt is on the verge of dramatic changes, and the Church within Egypt is adapting and responding to the Arab Spring .  Jeremy Weber reports on the developments taking place, some of which are very exciting in light of China.
