A Church for Hani and Yi People in Yunnan | Chinese Church Voices

China recognizes 55 minorities in addition to the Han majority.  Each minority has at least one significant cultural barrier that distinguishes them as a people group and creates a distance from the Han people.  Historically that has led to warfare and prejudice.  It is not uncommon for some of the minority people to hide their ethnic identity when they go to major cities looking for employment.

Please pray for the Hani, the Yi, the Yao, the Zhuang, the Miao, the Dong, the Tujia, the Uygur, the Kazakh, and the other minorities.  Please note that in most of the minorities, there are in fact sub-groups who often speaken mutually unintelligible dialects, which further complicates the spread of the Gospel among these peoples.
